The Co-op Education Program is a carefully structured program where all parties,
Mercury, the Student, and the University, enter into a mutual agreement. It
is designed to enrich a Student's formal education by alternating periods of
study with meaningful periods of work. The student, viewed as a "professional-in-training",
provides entry-level employment services to the company. The success of this
partnership depends upon good will and a sense of professionalism.

It is Mercury's intention to seriously consider students who have completed
the Co-op Program for full-time employement. Obviously, some students will exercise
other career options available to them at the end of the program, and similarly
Mercury may not always have the ability to offer full-time employment to all
students completing the program. Ultimately, full-time employment offers will
be based on Mercury's needs and a competitive review of each student's performance
throughout the program.

guidelines described herein.
